Hello
My name is Jaidyn. I am a lead facilitator here at Deadly Outdoor Adventures. I am studying outdoor education and environmental science at Victoria University. I enjoy many hobbies,, but my main things are the outdoors and sports such as basketball. My rationale for this task is that in an increasingly culturally diverse and dynamically interconnected world, students must come to understand their world, past and present, and develop a capacity to respond to challenges. The goal is to educate and advocate for learning about the traditional people of the land that we live and work on and for this land we are on today, the Yorta Yorta people of the Sand Ridge forest.

Our Story
As lead facilitators, we take pride in our work of not only respecting the land we live and work on but also helping teach the new generation of the traditional custodians of the land and how they lived on the lands before collineation, which caused so much loss and heartbreak to many first peoples. Our goal is to try and have future generations experience the beautiful land scape and appreciate it as much as the traditional custodians of the land.
